why do i think they've reunited every year for the first time in 17/16/15 and so on years?

I think Perry Farrel organizes these things in order to generate moneys to pay for his bondage clothing and heroin habits. Sad.

I saw them at the Orleans in Vegas around 2003 their last reunion tour. Then after the show Farrel went to a local club and played DJ for the remainder of the night.

So it didn't count as a reunion all of the other times because the bass player wasn't there?

Maybe he refused to reunite those other times because they never invited him to the party after the show.

Yes, he was an important, integral part of the band back when they created music. But if they're just going to be a nostalia act and reproduce the same old music onstage, it doesn't really matter if they use the original bass player, does it?

BTW - I did see them on that last Lolapaloser tour and they sounded good. Very professional.
