I am leaving my long time post as soundguy at launchy, my hearing is in danger of being lost (I am hearing a constant hum for the past week, and low frquency rumbles).

Sometimes I wonder why half the people I know aren't deaf already. I know that *I* have sustained some hearing damage, which I like to blame on Wisdom of the Leech and ATG at the Attic. Damn, broken up bands and a dead venue -- no one to sue! ;-)

It kind of worries me, sometimes, when I see kids out there (particularly lined up outside the Sunshine) and most of 'em don't have earplugs. By the time they figure out how they fucked up, it'll be too late.
