This makes me fear for the future of the music industry. We need another Kurt Cobain or perhaps the rap industry needs its first Kurt Cobain. I'm generally not a negative person but I think I might actually wish death upon this "band". I have a feeling that this "band" is going to be huge and I hate that. I couldn't say I'm jealous because I dislike their music so much. I guess I'm angry that such a shallow minded 100% image and 0% talent group that I wouldn't even consider a band is taking off so easily because people are buying into their bullshit. I had hoped that as our society moves forward this shallow-mindedness would be left behind obviously I'm wrong. But hey we'll all be happy if we get "Crunk (TM)". I am completely opposed to everything Brokencyde represents.

I'm usually supportive of any band who makes real music, even if it's not what I like. If it's from the heart than it's good in my book.

I sometimes wonder what it would be like to be known for the rest of your life as the guy who sang that "Get Crunk" song. I get sick of my own lyrics sometimes, but I can't imagine if I had to sing the same lame song about my level of Crunkness for the rest of my life.

"Lovely Lady Hump" and "Lick my crack?" are another two good examples.

Skreech, I think you are confusing making good, crafted music w/ being famous on myspace. They are 2 different things and I kind of respect these kids for the 'hard work' (probably 1/2 of it is sitting on myspace all day) that they do.
They are serious about being ironic and all that shit.. Yeah, it also looks like the dumbest shit ever. But hey, they took that next step and decided this is what they want to do for the summer. They decided they wanted to go out and make ridiculous music on the road for 2 months. More power to them.

No because to give them jealousy would imply that I somehow wanted to be them or be like them and I don't.
