That's fucking terrible. They are a great band, and really friendly. Thanks to Unit 7 we got to open for them, and they were super cool. As mentioned on here recently as an Albuquerque upside: it's lucky to open for a band that you actually listen to.
This is also scary as shit. We're going out of town briefly in two days, and I was already thinking about The Exploding Hearts.
man that is every band's worst nightmare. i've thought about how bad it would suck to get into an accident with all of that loose, heavy gear in the back of the van. a mesa 400+ bass head comin at you, even in a minor accident could really do some serious damage.

The Coma Recovery flipped their van on black ice in Oregon a few winters ago. The van and some gear got trashed but nobody was seriously hurt, fortunately.
