Has anyone had avatar bass cabinets? I'm thinking of buying one casue they're chepa and they get good reviews. So, anyone know?

Dr. Jones- I picked up an Avatar 2x10pro a while back. They are good cabinets, and are as well constructed any out there. The tone doesnt have a lot of coloration to it, but they do have a low-mids bump (similar to Ampeg/Mesa, not similar to SWR) that is suitable for rock/metal type music.

I have a few of their cabinets. In fact I am selling my 4x12 on the Gear Swap.

I have their 2x12 bass cab. It is really nice. Clear, efficient, and can handle a lot of power. They are just as good as any other brand out there.

I used to have their 2x10 but sold it for a Dr. Bass one.

The 4x12 I am selling only because I have too much stuff. I also have a 2x12 guitar cab that is one of the best sounding cabs I have owned.

They are good cabs and have great customer service.
