I saw the Beach Boys with my parents in the mid 80's.
Around 1988 or 89 I snuck out of the house to see GG Allen with some older highshool skateboarding buddies at Wally's Place in Bethlehem, Pa. That freaked me out and changed my perspective. I was just trying not to get killed or any bodily fluids on me. Admittedly I was fucking scared, freaked out and stayed in the back. Shortly after I saw the Cramps, The Ramones, Social D, and many others all at Airport Music Hall in Allentown, PA which was notorious for LOTs of white-power skinheads. They would always try to kick our suburban white asses and steal our doc martins. I saw lots of punk rock and metal shows in highschool. There was a Biohazzard show where there was a serious riot. I believe DaveFame might have been there too. (although i didn't know him at that time)
The first big arena concert I saw was Aerosmith around 1990. The Black Crows opened. It was actually a great show. I was 15, wondering the parking lot with some friends looking to score some beer. (I lived skateboarding distance to the arena)
Shortly after I got a job parking cars at the arena and we could go to all the shows for free as long as we came out early enough to work before the mass exodus. I saw TONS of arena rock shows there. I made friends with the manager and got to cruise around in the golf cart making sure everyone else was working. It was such a great job.

I have many hesher aunts and uncles not too much older than me. They took me to Ratt, Scorpions, Maiden, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Queensryche, etc before I was 10years old. All were at Tingley. I think the first concert I went to alone (and I do mean alone because nobody had interest) was Rush/Roll the Bones @ Tingley in like 91. Got to see /'hear'/ meet John Cage at UNM Keller Hall. 1989? right before he died.

Phish at Madison Square Garden New Year's Eve 1995 ... my punishment for dating a hippie-chick. Actually it wasn't that bad (other than getting arrested). Honestly the worst show I've ever seen was probably GG Allin.

Did you suck his ass? Did it smell? Actually did he suck his own ass, or did he keep it mellow and just give himself a blowjob? My first concert was lame. DC Talk when I was 8 I went with my sister and a church group. Not the worst show though. The worst show I ever went to was one we played in Yuma AZ at a park. This band called Pariah (not the famousish one) from there who was a hardcore punk band. They weren't bad as far as punk goes I mean they were shit but that's punk so who cares. But the singer had a speech impediment that made him sound like homestar runner but worse. Ok they weren't bad just funny and the fact that they took themselves so seriously made it funnier. Wait do shows you played count?
Go die!

No I was like 14 or 15 years old and I had no idea what GG allin was all about. I was just tagging along with the older kids. I do remember him pulling a chick around by the hair and throwing feces into the crowd.

Van Morrison in 74(?) at the Civic Auditorium. Still, to this date, the only concert I have fallen asleep at.

would have to be either Stones' Steel Wheels '89 or The Who also '89 completely ruined "big stadium/arena" shows for me (with very few exceptions) just being around all the drunk-ass morons screaming and acting like jerkoffs instead of watching the show (on massive screens) made me feel like an idiot for giving those wankers ANY money, let alone the (prolly) $30-$40 it undoubtedly cost at that time. i credit those shows with birthing my still cynical view of "popular" concerts and acts... it just seems that once they became million sellers, their music took a back seat to selling out big shows . exceptions exist, but fewer and fewer ...

Man... it's cold out!

Worst concert... Kittie a couple of years ago. The vocals were hellaciously to loud and i left half way into it because it was so painful. After them would certainly be Cold at the pavilion. They just Sucked with a capitol fucking S which was very dissappointing cause I was a big fan at the time. What about the best concert you have ever been to? For me it was Dave Matthews Band at Foxboro Stadium back in 1999. I was working the concession stand and the whole band got done with sound check and came down to our booth (which was on the stadium floor) and order a bunch of food from us. Dave actually came up to me and asked me to cook him 2 hotdogs. It was pretty surreal beause I got to talk to one of my heroes and cook him hotdogs at the same time! The band signed autographs for everyone and mine said "Geoff, thanks for the hot dogs!" He also thanked all of us during the show later on stage!
Someone get a fire extinguisher... I'm a hot commodity!
