One of my favorite artists of all time is the late Elliott Smith. I know he was thru Burque on tour several years back and I'm wondering if anybody saw that show? Any other Elliott fans out there?

agreed. either/or is one of those albums that i listened to so much i had to put it away for fear it would be overplayed. i never got to see him live, but with all the press he got in places like magnet or spin, he still never was as popular as he was good. figure 8 is also amazing.

I agree that either/or was his greatest work. I've also just about burnt out XO. His albums just have a unique mood to them, definately melancholy, but undeniably original.
Over the years I have heard his tunes placed in some great movies, and when I hear the first lines I get the shivers.
