I have a problem, I need to compress my personal mp3s so I can fit them on a site. I know its possible because I have several lengthy mp3s from bands I listen to and their songs are longer than mine, yet they are waaaay smaller in size. For example I have an 11 minute song I want to post but since its like 15M it wont fit (size limit is 6M) and I refuse to cut it shorter because then it ruins the song. any help would be great.
goldwave my friend. google search, download and your done. You might need to download something called razorlame too. It compresses my music quite well.

The only thing i can think of is did you download Goldwave too, and if you did and still doesnt work, perhaps your compy hates you. I know mine does. What codec is the music in originally. Maybe convert it to a wave and then recompress it again to the mp3 on whatever program your using now.
Also, how big is this music file?
