$30 bucks for a set of four? You think that's bad? Do yourself a favor and don't look at any Nambe barware.

Sheesh.
Cheapskate.

That glass needs a handle. What's the point of the perfect glass if the beer is all warm and my hand is cold?

We got some Nambe for our wedding. Let me just say: that is some quality stuff. Whoever bought it off of us on eBay should be very happy with it.

I would still be paying for one glass. The first one will break when I pass out drunk my ceramic floor. Number 2 will break when I wash the dishes. Number 3 will break after I fall off the roof of my house while drinking out of the glass. Therefore, I will only have one left and I would put it on display so I wouldn't break it! Well, this is my theory anyway. Now that I think of it, I should stop drinking on the roof!

I wouldn't mind a set as a gift, but I don't think I'd pay $30 for one. I mean, that's like 4 big bottles of Ommegang, dood!

Yeah, that would be a good idea but don't they only come in 4oz cups? I would need quite a few cups. Smile

As compared to most American "ricewater" brews, I disagree. I'd drink a Sam Adams before a Bud, PBR, or Miller anytime.

As compared to good microbrews, yeah. I'd rather have me an Arrogant Bastard than a Sam.

I can only drink a couple Boston Lagers before the flavor just gets too redundant for me. I love the Double Bock. The Winter Lager, Scotch Ale, White, all good beers. Webmonkey, maybe you should start with something easy like the Cherry Wheat and work your way up.

That Summer Ale is fucking terrible.

But with so many good beers made by folks like Stone and New Belgium, I don't find much time for Sam.

Tonight, it will be Budweiser because I like it... quite a bit, really. I've also been slumming a lot recently with Old E (not the high grav stuff) and King Cobra. The buzz that comes on when you are just about halfway through that second 40, which has grown a little warm and just tastes awesome, is enjoyable.

Colt 45. Now there is some damned fine malt liquor. I haven't seen that in some time. Nor have I seen any St Ides that is not the high gravity stuff. Que lastima. Do any of you remember Crazy Horse? That shit was harsh on the palate. I used to get a lot of shit for bringing that to parties. Not from Natives, but from the white ponytail types.

Yeah, that's the stuff. Nayustee!
