Thats awesome Dave. I'm crunching numbers on a possible hybrid design that would use a small Turbine engine to generate electricity to power four motors and toss the tranny out the window. I want to build a go cart prototype. I think if adapted to a full sized van It would drop 500 pounds of weight and cut mechanical friction by 50%. The ultimate goal for me would be 30 to 40 MPG on a full sized van. The hard part is finding the right engine and developing software that can regulate the balance of the whole system especially if I want to use the motors for breaking as well.

I saw a special the other night on electric motorcross bikes. They did a series of tests... endurance, speed, power, weight, etc and ran a bunch of races. The gas bikes BARELY came out on top. They said in 5 years the electric bikes will be far better than the gas ones. It was weird to see them doing 50 foot jumps with no engine sound!!!

Just today I recieved a message via myspace that Obama is the anti-christ...you know: Muslim decent, popular with the peeps, early/mid forties, promising change...just like in revelations.....this message concluded with a comment he had made about how the U.S. is no longer a "Christian Nation", which of course has the christians in an uproar.....I don't get these people...isn't it obvious with all the different religions practiced in this country that we haven't been a "Christian Nation" in a long, long time. Hell, wasn't it back in the early eighties that the Fed recognized the First Church of Satan as a religious body.
I thought one of the foundations of this nation was freedom of religion...not just freedom of Christianity.

Revelations is such a cryptic book that there have been many theories on the order that the events of the end times will happen. When it was written things had to be stated in specific ways to avoid raids, killing and most importantly burning of scrolls. The similarities a lot of politicians these days have with biblical descriptions of the anti-christ is striking. Its kind of funny really. All these christians start freaking out for no reason. There's no reason because they aren't the anti-christ and if they were there's no reason cause if your a christian you have nothing to worry about. Perhaps they're trying to save some last minute souls but I'm sure that like this discussion everyone's mind is already made up. Furthermore if Obama is the anti-christ then honestly I couldn't be happier. That would mean that I have a good shot at being a part of mankind in its finest hour, if I don't get killed for being a believer first but whatever no worries.
