What's going on in New Orleans is atrocious, racist, and representative of the worst aspects of American society. I want to do something to help. Does anyone have ideas for a benefit concert? A place to have it? Bands to play? Ways to promote? Just throwing it out there. I'll start looking around.

Yeah, I want to do a benefit show too. Seems like the Launchpad would be ideal-they had the tsunami benefit shows there and we played and it went well. We should contact Joe Anderson about it. I'm sure that something's already in the works.

Greetings Black Maria.....We'd like to invite you to play a Hurricane Benefit show. All proceeds go to the Red Cross. Here's the scoop:

Monday Sept 19th
15 bands TBA
All-Ages until 11pm (doors @ 7pm) 21+ 11:30-close
Launchpad
15-20 min sets, shared backline.

The gulf coast needs our help.. We can utilize our livelyhoods to attract people to donate. And, we'll have a damn good time in the process.

Joe is working on an Alibi ad for us.
Channel 4 is planning to cover the story
and we'll promote the balls off this thing.

I totally agree with ya YA YA Boom project!!! Nunchuk is also totally willing to help! weather its playing, advertising or attending. Any way to show support! Its important and its the very least any of us can do to help!

Oh and my suggestion would be to make it ALL AGES!!! more people will attend and be supportive. It will more likely be a success!
