I think Romeo Goes to Hell is/was the most brilliantly named band in town. I'm sorry to see the name go...(but hopefully not the sound).

It's gonna have to be a pretty damn good name to beat RGTH.

By the way... it sucks that those bastards stole your URL. There is a band in Crownepoint Indiana named Five Minutes In who tried to take our website. Thank baby jesus that our bassist bought the rights (and the trademark) to www.fiveminutesin.com.

Hey! How about "Heaven Comes to Romeo"?

I knew I'd get some lame responses and some infringement-y nominations going on, but I don't want to stifle anyone suggestion-wise. I'm totally down with stupid or joke names, and we've got some cool suggestions too. Keep 'em coming. Clearly a name like "scrotal abortion" or "coca-cola" doesn't fit us or work, but if I limited it to narrow parameters and all kinds of little rules we'd get few responses and might miss something awesome.

We'll do some research and legal shit on any names we like to make sure it's all kosher. The list of names, domains, etc that are being used is already way, WAY huger than the list of open ones, much less the cool ones. It's unlikely we'll get our first choice whatever happens, but it's still cool to hear from people.

Yeah, of course we wanna be able to get the "_.com" and also not get sued and also get something that turns up us and not too much else when you Google search it. If you Google "romeo goes to hell" we get something related to us for the first few pages solid; if you do "The Foxx" they come up first, but not the next few; And have you ever tried "The Alarm Clocks?" Impossible. Even if you try "alarm clocks band albuquerque" you get am/fm band clock radios on sale nearby. Granted, they aren't really active anymore, but you get my point. Names are hard: even if it's not being used for a band or trademarked, some jerk kid someplace has it for their myspace.

And since people have been mailing them to me, our myspace, the alibi, all kinds of places, we'll post a full list everyplace when we get close to picking time.
