these pics suck, my camera is broken so I took them on my phone. not "pro-gear," I know... I haven't been taking enough pictures of my stuff though, so it's better than nothing? Two new prints here, and next week-ish: Bellemah, Ya Ya Boom and more!

First: Zoltan the Mad Hungarian and his Orkestar! An arty, cool three color print. http://www.myspace.com/zoltantrio Buy some! On forest green or red.

Second: Barack On! Barack Obama with the Jay-z millionaire sunglasses and Mic jaggar's body. My design! Buy these at Mei Long http://www.myspace.com/meilongmusic or Booty Green shows http://www.myspace.com/meilongelectro. Also, vote for him so I can make more shirts! I know: I make money from a democrat in office?!? Wink White on red and soon blue on pink.

The Barrack one got a chuckle out of me. How much are you selling these PRO-shirts for?

I'm not- commissioned jobs, the bands are selling them. You can get Barack On! shirts at Booty Green or Mei Long shows, contact them above on their myspace pages if you want to order one without going to a show. I hear they are going fast!

Here's a shirt I'd like made - the shot from the Exocist with Regan sitting on the bed , her head bent around backwards to face the lens, her legs spread and her arm up in the air, holding a bloody crucifix. the caption? "Let Jesus fuck you." Whaddaya say, how much would that cost me? Hey, you're not mad that I wrote that Volume Volume is a crappy name, are you? Sheesh, it's just an opinion! But that volume Volume signature is psychedelic, man! . . . and more than a little annoying . . . oh well.

Oh, I'm not mad. I don't really like the name either. I just don't like you in a personal way. I'll still take your money though and smile while taking it! I prefer to avoid knowing copyright infringment though. Maybe Reagan instead? I could see those selling well. Send me an image and I'll give you a quote. Yeah, the sig is a bit too much for every post.

Glad to know you're willing to do business. I assume a certain amount of "bulk" is required? And I don't see why any copyright infringement needs to find its way back to you. I thought pirated tees got circulated all the time and no one could do anything about 'em. I remember when Bart Simpson doing and saying very naughty, un-Simpson-like things was all the rage and no one did shit about it. No?

I'm sure I sell things to and buy things from assholes all the time. Their money still spends and so does mine.

I have no minimum. But prices do get better the more you order. Only one shirt starts at $30, but I go as low as $4.25 each and average 5 to 6 bucks each depending on what you want (how many colors ink, brand, etc). My specialty is short runs, so I usually stick in the 12 to 100 range. If you really want "bulk" (over 100) you can get a better price from companies with the economies of scale. I prefer to target people who don't need or can't move 100 shirts and have no desire or need to rip anyone off. A fair price for short runs is a less tapped niche market, so I can keep away from competition at the same time. People who charge less than me are usually still making as much -probably more- profit than I am, they just have more capital to do so. I don't ever want to steal customers, but mostly get people who wouldn't have ordered shirts at all otherwise.

I'm not into bootlegs. I have mixed feelings about intellectual property and current copyright laws (a drug or invention only gets so many years, but Micky Mouse apparently gets an immortal pass?) but there is plenty more options out there besides squatting on someone else's ideas. Having been on the receiving end (not being ripped off, but having other people beat me to the punch) my ideas are damn near the only thing I have. No doubt I have produced things that aren't original, and clip art and satire are fine, I just don't want the reputation of a swiper- it'll diminish my honest work which I am proud of.

Cherry Tempo shirts- this pic REALLY doesn't give their design credit! Also, some better pics of the Barack shirts- which I WILL be selling online after I set that up after this weekend (by the way, if anyone wants to commission some McCain, Hilary, etc shirts, I am equal opportunity!).

Up next is Gracchi and Ghostkimo!

For some reason I forgot to take pictures of The Gracchi shirts I did. The look like this though:

also in red, pink and grey!

Hit by a Bus shirts! This is the finest print I've done, with very tiny delicate lines. On Blue, but pictured here is red and pink.

Ghostkimo! This is the biggest print I've done, 17 inches tall!

Up next is mostly buttons, though I have a few bands on the line for shirts that haven't gotten back to me. In the meantime, here's couple of people about town wearing shirts of mine!

Matt from Paper Tigers and Old Beans wearing one of my "I'm cool because I'm in a band" shirts! I need to make some more of these, since they have sold out the first day every time.

Noelan wearing one of my limited edition Josh King comemorative "want" shirts:

Again: anyone sends me a picture of anyone wearing a shirt I did will get it posted someplace!

I must say...those HBaB shirts are looking mighty snazzy. Sorry about the tiny lines! I'm oblivious to the screen printing process, so I have no idea what constitutes a labor-intensive shirt. The next one will be way easy, I promise. I don't think I need to let everyone know to get their shirts done through Levi. In Burque, you're a household name, good sir. Thanks for the awesome shirts!

No, thank you! I wasn't complaining, I was bragging! I like to challenge myself and showcase the range. Some things are easier than others, but I'd hate to limit myself and my customers to what is easy (of course, some things are impossible, but this wasn't). The only thing I really hate to do is shirts that are ugly- these are very cool looking. They are also ideal for summertime, since it's a big print but doesn't have to be superthick and sweat-inducing, and a lighter shirt. they will be super-comfortable!
