New 3 Doors Down album out today! Woooooo- um... guys?

*crickets chirping*

Oh, right. They suck. I normally don't like to badmouth success. But: ugh.

Who else has worn out their welcome and should have taken their money and gotten out while the getting was good? Adam Sandler, for one.

Music, movies or both on the Adam Sandler point?

Both. He needs to retire. I haven't bothered with anything he did since punch drunk love, but having caught parts at friends houses and such, I can say his two hour, one-note skits with annoying "characters" are fucking lame. even two minutes of "the water boy" is nails on a chalkboard. It might not have been too bad if he hadn't been in it impersonating a retard.

Also tired: Mike Myers, Aerosmith, My Name Is Earl, Friends reruns (you haven't seen them 500 times yet?), Nancy Grace, .... I could do this all day.

You've probably heard them though, if you watched movies or TV from the last decade, or if you were ever forced to work someplace where lowest-common radio is the only option. If you have avoided them or forgotten them then you are lucky!

that being said and true,
REIGN OVER ME is a good movie where he plays it straight (sorta) as a 9/11 widower .

funny movie at points, but not because of him.

i will watch ANYTHING with Don Cheadle
