Woah! Right on! You typed it! It just doesn't get any more punk rock than that. Underground forever!

They're from Tulsa, right? Not sure if I've ever heard 'em. I'm sure Black knows all about them, maybe even been on the same bill.

No way Ella. Anything that came out on radio is poseur music. End of story! No, I actually share your taste in music. And notice I mention Metallica's "Battery" off the top of my head. And I love what you and your husband were listening to today - The Breeders. Heard the new one yet? Yeah, that was me who stopped by. The handsome guy with the Morrissey shirt and the dated 80's hairdo. I was going to introduce myself, but I thought maybe you guys would freak out as so many people seem to get freaked out by me. Also, I guess I was a little shy and wanted to see if you guys were cool. You seemed pretty cool - nice and polite to potential customers (even though I have zero interest in getting a moped). You did seem bored, though Ella. I guess it would get boring sitting behind that desk. I can see that you aren't into looking like the model you could be - you definitely play down your good looks.

As far as I can tell, you are one of the few cool people who post here. You certainly aren't uptight and you don't get your panties in a wad over the bullshit I type. Maybe I'll come check you guys out tonight. It will be VERY wierd going to a show sober, something I haven't done in decades, but I'm so weirded ut these days by sobriety, it will almost be like being on some wierd drug anyway.

Too bad there aren't more laid-back rocksquawkers around here like you. I just got banned again, goodness knows why! People seem to think I'm some sort of scumbag attention junkie. They can't seem to get that when they make a post, they want other people to read it too. If those people would just put me on "block," they could ignore me and I would just type away to my hearts content, completely oblivious! Oh, well, I guess they prefer being my enemy and getting me all rilled up and nasty!

Hah! Awesome!
Tho I thought we were listening to The Amps when you came in...same-ish thing.
I think that aside from minor sexual harassment, Harry and I tend to share similar views with you, esp when it comes to christianity...
Funny.
You should come to the show tonight, but I wouldn't recommend doing it sober... no, no way.

ditto! I'm an 80's baby. The Clash! Siouxsie and the Banshees! Bauhaus! B-52's! Art of Noise! The weed! The LSD! The MDMA! The carefree days of highschool and living off the parents! Ah yes, the good old days!

If I'm not mistaken, it was "If I Was A Painter" which appeared on POD. Wow, someone who actually gets me - definitely not to be taken seriously - well, most of the time. I'm the one who used to get all those anti-Chritian letters published in the Alibi. I think I actually got a few people to think about whether or not they should believe in that shit. But I had a falling out with the Alibi (that started years ago when they awarded 1rst place in their "Short Short Story" to a story that went over the word limit and then refused to run a correction. True, I was jealous and thought I should've won. But they published my story in a subsequent contest). Little by little our relationship degenerated until I became a hateful little troll. And then even that wasn't fun after a while. How sad and pathetic.

I think Synchronicity is an excellent album.

Only two pre-synchronicity police albums qualify on this 80's thread:
Zenyatta Mondatta and Ghost in the Machine.
