Oh, damn, it's all so true. When was the last (or first) time you ever saw Black folks or Hispanic folks shopping at La Montanita Co Op? 100% Whitey, personnel and clientele.

Does this guy address the white man's uniform at all? You know, khaki shorts that go just above the knee, loafers w/ no socks, light colored tee w/ a sweater wrapped around the neck? maybe some oakleys and a pony-tail to boot.

Oh, this one is so true. A&S graduate students know that this is the only way that mommy, daddy, and taxpayers will support them. So they live out a life of never really producing anything useful to anyone else but other grad students and their professors, which they may very well hope to eventually become, and the whole cycle begins anew. In general, they are not much good at anything outside of college life, so they eventually fall into like with their ilk, and are able to rationalize and feel validated through their existence among them. As a whole, I have found grad students to be bossy, wordy, pretentious, facetious, and self righteous, even moreso than myself, which is really saying something.

Like it says, though, I don't reckon that law, medicine, physics, engineering, etc. apply to the paradigm.

I don't much consider physics, law, medicine, engineering and so on so much graduate studies but more like working toward professional training. One thing that supports this is the fact that if you get into grad school for physics, math, engineering or other sciences, you are guaranteed for it to be paid. Philosophy or History? not so much..

speaking of grad students, you should see some that i meet in physics. talk about more people with their head up their ass. I constantly have to endure listening to reasons as to why chemistry and engineering are not "real" sciences and are for "pussies who can't do physics." Give me a break..
