You guys are all so used to each other that you would know that. An outsider would not.

Please, if you do nothing else, when you log in next time, take a new and FRESH look at this place. As an outsider would see it, and go from there with your own opinions.

Let it grow and grow with it. As she said...choose your battles. Is this one truly worth it?? It was for me, no matter the outcome.

Peace, fellas.

And Matt, think about that bass player thing. I got one waiting for me right now.

Well Matt . . . . .
Being a bass player, and having had more than my fair share of the ladies (thank God for no-fault divorce in NM)- I tend to agree with you. As to the rest, it all depends on how you look at it - seems to me that bass player is at the top of the list.

On the other topic - I expect that there is no sliding scale for respect - either you get it or not - anything else sorta gets lumped in with "situational ethics" - you know - the kind used car salespeople and politicians are famous for having.

I think it's funny that bass players and drummers are further down the chain than roadies.

Mr. Nomad, your response to Camaro Matt was a bit too intelligent. You need to dumb it down a bit for the dude. E.g., replace your "s's" with multiple "zzzzzz's", refer to females as chixxxx (again with the multiple consonants) and talk about Keystone light. You'll get a bit farther.

I'd also like to see how far a (supposed) guitarist like Camaro Matt would get without a rhythm section.

A rhythm section? They just distract from his bitchin' solos!
