Sure to piss off both liberals and conservatives, Catholics and athiests, the Vatican has added seven new deadly sins! Personally I'm glad, because now there is one that I don't do; genetic engineering. As I understand hell math, I now am about 7% less damned? You litterbugs and rich rockstars is fucked though. No word from Dante about which circles they will go to, because he is dead. Hopefully by the next edition (scheduled for the 28th century?) they will have added internet trolling. And one can only assume they haven't heard Nickleback.

Bands who "make it" do go to hell. History has taught us this time and time again. Witness!

Def Leppard made it and was actually pretty cool until they released the album Hysteria. After thqat, the band totally went to hell.

Megadeth went to hell in 1990 with their offering Rust In Peace.

The Angry Samoans went all to hell with Yesterday Started tomorrow.

Just a few examples. But, as Levi has said, bands who make it all go to hell evetually. Once they go to hell, they pretty much don't come back. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Dropkick Murphys, Rancid, Bad Religion, all these bands have all gone to hell. It was especialy sad when the Beatles moved to India, became hippies, and went all to hell.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are much better musicians these days compared to their earlier days. Better songwriters, more in command of the funk. More popular than ever and deservedly so.

Rancid sucks, but they always did. ...AND OUT COME THE WOLVES is a one trick pony with weak songs. "Time Bomb" is a good listen once in a blue moon if you don't mind music that rips on the Clash. Bad Religion - another bad band that never wrote a good song. Yuck. Green Days were a sack of shit til they got it together and made DOOKIE. They've made some decent songs since then, but that was their peak. Sometimes there's a good reason when bands get big. The best part is, they make tons of money and piss off the pretentious weiners who were "there first."

I used to think this was the case... Then I saw Rancid live a few years ago and they kicked serious ass. I've since reconsidered the extent of their hesherdom.

Perhaps they are better musicians but their music sucks now. I loved them in the early daze ... Uplift Mofo Party Plan and Freaky Styley were great records.

Now they can't write a song that isn't about California. California California California ... awful
