Graduate school is all about never having to pay back those student loans. I know many people who are on the "school until I die" payback plan.

White people also like pointless degrees; I knew a forestry degree guy who ended up being the dude who cuts down the trees that get in the way of power lines. He was going to save the world. I actually knew a guy who was a basketry major for some weaving degree. I didn't even know there was such a thing- what the hell kind of job could you ever get? outside of a reservation, I don't think there is even one job in the whole country. He's an Elvis impersonator now.

Or you know, art, music and english degrees. Great training to end up being a waiter. Philosophy degrees are like framed douchebag awards.

Pretty much everyone I know who has an a&S degree doesn't use it. Makes you wonder why their parents put them through 4-6 years of college. It does get their whiny, know it all asses out of the house, I guess.

My dad said that, above all, a college degree proves little more than the fact that you can put up with bullshit. That's a characteristic that almost all employers treasure.

Haha, wholly agreed! But the patience and dedication to finish out a degree program is something to feel accomplished about, no doubt.

I see a big difference between a A&S degree and a BS degree. A big one.
