Melvins Rule the World!!!!

one of the only shows i ever participated in a mosh pit was the MELVINS at the late, great Fabulous Dingo Bar.

It was the first and the last....I knocked a gentleman out of his wheel chair (by accident) and was asked to leave.

DOH!

The last time they came to the Launchpad I was a bit shocked. They were unusually quiet, and I couldn't even hear the fourth member of the band that played the guitar and the strange string thing. When I saw them in Nashville I thought my head was going to explode. It was so damn loud! Stoner Witch is one of their best, as is the one that has Hank III.

melvins rule.
the bellmont cites the melvins as an influence.
I don't think many other locals bands would do that.

i like those covers. Blockbuster is my favorite Jesus Lizard song, and i thought the david Yow/Melvins version was almost better.
