so far from what I've heard here, after the fire, Joe stood back, figured out what he would need, and rebuilt his bar better than before, and now it is running within a few months of the disaster.

so what has happened to the golden west at this point? is it still sitting in a pile of rubble? or have they started anything at that site yet?

From what I've heard, they don't have the money to tear the rest of it down and do a proper demo. So they just painted over the burn marks on the facade in the meantime.
