I just wanted to post a list of these other local folks who put out good quality, vinyl, cdr, or cassette releases:

The Lotus Sound (psych/folk) operates out of Astro-Zombies store.

Featherspines (mostly cassette micro-label)

Flying Midget Records (rock/thrash/cowboy-style)

Big Whoop (not sure if he's started yet, but has 2 vinyl releases this year)

Hype Machine (no site yet, more stuff coming soon from this one though)


And of course, there are the 4 down there in the labels section who still exist.

June Records is another one-indie rock/pop label.

Real labels already know there is no such thing as a good quality cassette tape. Ah, the smallness.
