Webmonkey recommended the band Dead Meadow a few months back.

Anyway, I downloaded their album "Old Growth" and it kicks ass. This is the coolest new album I've heard in a while. There are some strong recurring themes and melodies throughout. Very laid back with good lyrics.

Anyway... hope you can check it out.

They played Launchpad 2-3 years ago. I like them a bit. Not enough to listen to it for 45 minutes. My attention span is getting shorter every day.

Yeah, I was at that show. jealous gods opened. jaime bought me a t-shirt! still wear it. Good band.

Feathers is better..I was actually a little let down by the new album.

And yes, opening that show was awesome. One of the better shows I've ever got the opportunity to play here. Nice guys, good tunes.
