What Would Hüsker Dü?

Never knew that about Michale Graves. The Misfits have been through a lot of singers since. I believe that their drummer left with him. The two albums Graves did with the Misfits tear ass. A lot of his solo stuff is hit and miss, with Gotham Road as well as with Graves, but when he shines, holy fuck.

I wondered "what happened to Michale Graves" when I heard his new album, "Return to Eath". Some of the songs are, well, sub par.

What a great guy to meet. Just so nice! Man, can he sing. I can't believe that we actually got to open for him twice.

I saw this interview years ago on a Danzig home video... I haven't been able to find it since. Very cool.

Not quite as cool as Kenny and Johnny from Type O Negative rockin out with Danzig on their last gig at Sunshine. I shit myself a little.

Never "got" Danzig or Misfits. God knows most everyone I know adore him/them. Seemed like goofy-ass jocks playing dress up, fronted by a sawed off steroid freak/mama's boy.

Although this changed my mind.

Now I think of him as an egotistical tough-guy with no way to back it up.

(still the best) Hated (band in town).....

If they didn't do it in 1978, I would feel the same way.

haha, that's funny!

When I was a young skate punk I fucking loved the Misfits but I had never seen pictures of them, read interviews and definitely not seen any of their videos. The only impression I had was their music (and the covers of Walk Among Us, Earth AD, Beware and Legacy of Brutality.)

They always held a mysterious and ambiguous, creepy-cool vibe in my mind.

Now the power of the internet shatters a lot of the cool fantasies I had about them. They really are sorta dumb jocks. They must've mentioned lifting weights 3 times in that interview ... and how they lift weights before and after every rehearsal ... fucking freaks.
