We put together a pretty cool collage of old flyers. I'm working on a web form to upload OLD flyers if anyone has any really cool old flyers lying around that they'd like to post. For now here are the ones that are up there...

Just like computer generated flyers don't have that same zing for me. We always tried to have local artists draw up our flyers.

off topic: check out this movie.

when they're 16, amish teens are allowed to go nuts to get it out of their systems. don't miss the scene of the rave with 1000s at kids on some indiana farm: rolling up in horse-drawn buggies, amish chicks dancing in long dresses and bonnets while drinking canned beer, amish boyz with backward ball caps on meth.

great social anthropology.

Flickr is a *much* better place for flyers and we would love to have whatever you've got added to the archive.

While Jeremy works on the E-Z form, you can still upload flyers directly to Flickr. All you need is a Flickr account and to join the Flyer on the Web ABQ group. Then you can upload flyers to the pool and they will be part of the random 100+ flyers we display in the FOTW Archive on alibi.com.

(I've got some flyers from the late-90s, early 00s that I need to scan as well.)

But I already have an alibi account and a rocksquawk one! You're saying I need yet another account? This internet thing is a pain in the ass!

You can actually attach them to an email and send them to cart61gun@photos.flickr.com
which will tag it and put it in the FOTW ABQ flickr group, even if you are not a flickr member!
(one flyer attachment per email)

email subject = very short title of show with date

email body = extra (longer) description of show

I hear that. I don't know why I spaced the email address method since I'm the guy who set it up. My left and right hemispheres have somehow become separated.

You can also add Flickr tags when you submit by mail, if you are all geeky like that. Here's the info page:
