I saw this on the Alibi site and I just had to post it here. Apparently the mayor is getting rid of all candy bar and potato chip sales in vending machines at City Hall. He's making an executive order on healthy foods. Unbelievable. Isn't this still a free country??? I can't believe he is dictating what adults can/can't eat.

Well, he isn't saying that we can't eat those items, just that they won't be available @ city hall via vending machines. Nothing is stopping anyone from stopping off at a CircleK or 7/11 to pick up their fav candy bar or pop for a bag of them from the grocery store and keeping it in their car/office etc. for those true candy junk food lovers.

That's true but how are you supposed to maintain obesity if you have to walk all the way to 7-11?

What do you expect from a liberal democrat. That's SOP. If you study history, almost all fascist regimes come from the left.

And almost all religious, right movements have persecuted non-believers (remember the Inquisition?). Where are we to find freedom? From non-belief perhaps?
