FINALLY somebody got pissed off enough to bitch to myspace and get us shut down. Our account has been deleted for supposed copyright infringement.

WHAT!?! Someone got offended by the RAMS material? No! Copyright infringement?!? blah! ~B~

As much as y'all probably look forward to being hated enough to be "deleted" (I know we did), I have a feeling that there is some sort of "glitch" in the MySpace machinery that does this. We have been "deleted" three times since November. No one from MySpace ever responded to my inquiries as to what the fuck. All we ever got was the original "copywrite infringment" letter. And that was only for the first time we got the boot.

Not to say that y'all don't have haters. We sure as hell do, and some of them have semi-impressive computer skills. But after "networking" with various bands from around the country, in particular at SXSW last month, this getting "deleted" nonsense seems to be a common deal with MySpace. I guess you get what you pay for there.

We have seemed to circumvented the problem by putting our name up in all lower case. The current page has been up for about three months now. Y'all might try that, lest you have to resort to some other tactic for meeting slutty little, foul mouthed, vodka swilling teenage girls. Like hanging out at Hot Topic......

Ya know, I was considering asking you guys about your problems with myspace before I posted this. I didn't know that the copyright infringement shit was basically a form letter. Actually, I'm pretty sad to see that site go, as we had just started to get good momentum with it. But fuck it, we'll get another one started.

Because as we have all said before, despite the inherant lameness of MySpace, it's a great networking device for bands. Let me know.

And one thing I'd advise all bands on MySpace to do is to copy and paste all the info on your Profile Page, as well as your "friends" list, onto a Word document. That way if you get "deleted" it will only take a couple minutes to rebuild.....
