Lung curds, I say. Do any of you know what I am talking about? They are the odd little whitish/beige-ish pellets that you may occasionally cough up, especially if you are a new smoker. Most folks, upon encountering them, casually spit them out with a flick of the tongue, naver to think about them again. What a selfish waste! They should be shared with your friends for them to revel in!

A funny aside: The former bass player for Big Mud Tractor, Stubert Malone, who now resides elswhere, had an amusing tale he regaled me with a few moths ago. His juvenile delinquent son had an odd growth in his throat that was causing him acute discomfort. Upon close examination of the afflicted area, it was clear that the boy was growing a new tooth at the rear of his soft palate!!! They hied the boy to the doctor, who removed it, and gave them the happy news that it was, in fact, not a tooth, but a "tonsillar (sp?) concretion".

Sometimes they do come up from your lungs and throat. Other times, they come from your filthy, infected sinuses. Either way, they are supposedly the sum collection of all the dead bacteria, dried up mucus, and additional miscellany from your snot and floogey producing breathing junk. And they smell fucking terrible.

So, if you know what I'm talking about at this point, don't just casually spit one out the next time you encounter it. Sharing is caring, and it is a great amusement to, upon fishing one of the little fuckers out, mascerate it between finger and thumb and shove it under the nose of your unsuspecting companion. If you find yourself to be alone at the moment, mash it up and enjoy this human pearl yourself. Snnnnnifffff! Then you may truly realize what dirty, disgusting, and base creatures we really are.

It's nice to see that you, as well as some of your friends, are no strangers to these things. Truly wonders of nature. Is your problem chronic? I have had the mother of all sinus infections for the better part of a month and I am spitting these things out like a Pez dispenser. Some of them are really big and yellow, not the normal whitish color that I am used to. They used to be accompanied by huge, thick, sludgy wads of snot, sometimes two inches long and a half an inch thick, and the approximate consistency of Silly Putty.
