The Gallup band "Left Untold" took second place at the Battle of the bands yesterday. Big congrats to Ed, Beast, Shawn and Abe!!! You guys kicked ass!!! Of the bands who placed, these guys were the only ones whose music and performance deserved a mention, 'cause remember, it's never really about the music (sorry, but...) There were many other bands who showed up to pillage and burn and they did exactly that. I thought our set of 5 songs was pretty solid (I broke a new stick ) and before the fucking rent-a-pigs put up a barricade, there were about 15 kids less than 10 feet from us and a couple of 'em were banging along on the stage, it really kicked ass. kudos to the McKinley County Sherriffs for being cool as hell and even clapping for the bands a couple time (thanks also for not smelling our band too closely)
