We're not going to gig a whole lot in March thru mid-April with the intentions of actually getting the record finished. I've had these drum tracks for about 8 months now, and in that time period we lost our previous bass player and acquired Aaron, whom we've been trying to get in the band for about 5 years(did I mention he's a bad-ass?) We're going to shoot for early May release hopefully followed by a 4-5 date mini-tour. I'm privileged to play in this band. We can do almost everything in-house. Recording, t-shirts, website, etc. It makes everything a helluva lot easier. Cheaper, too! Website should be up in the next month as well. That's all for now, kids. Check the myspace page for updates. Also, if you haven't heard Harmony 7 yet, it's posted on myspace. Not the greatest recording, but it was free. We'll see everyone downtown tonight! We'll be drinking at GW supporting our fellow Squawkers! Arrr!

Yup! We've actually got 2 shows lined up for this time period. We've got a metalfest out in Gallup on the 25th of this month and then we've got Geoff's B-day Metal Extravaganza at GW on April 1st(Geoff, Mike Fleming called me and I confirmed with him)

It looks like Lance's guitar. Ibanez AX7? Good shit right there! I always like the lowest notes on the strings to be the same. B is B.

A standard? Or just dropped A? We go through 3 different tunings. B standard, Dropped A and ADAD.

Hey Mike,

Who's your contact in Gallup for that show, is it Rippy from Sacred Blood? I've been trying to find some new contacts out there for shows.

Thanks,
Scott

Nah, Rippy's crew is a bit too...what's the word? Our contact is Travis from Tribus, or possibly Ryan from The Perfect Alibi. You guys would do well with either of those bands. I'm doing my best to make it to the show, but even if I can't make it, Lance and Aaron will still represent.
