(almost inaudibly) We got Frank Quillen of Ralli's and our buddy Gabe Campos (who interned at Stepbridge) to assist in the engineering. This means that Mikey won't have to run to the "control" room, hit record, run back out to the big room, play the song by himself, run back to the "control" room, hit stop, listen back only to realize that he A. fucked up the first 20 seconds and needs to do the thing over again, or B. fucked up the LAST 20 seconds and needs to do the thing over again. Mr. Campos has graciously agreed to let his dual-processor G5, Digi002, powered Event HR 8's, AKG C414, etc., etc., live at Skull House for the duration of the album (basically I think his girlfriend won't have any of it set up at their pad). So we're stoked. With all of everyone's gear combined, we've got something like 24 simultaneous mic inputs. FUCK YEAH(quietly)!!!Tracking begins in like two weeks. More as it develops...

How many songs are going to be on the album? Any ideas for the title? Are you going to have a glam shot with girlpants and emo haircuts?

I was tossing around the idea of having a 19 track album, with at least 8 tracks being interludes (ie. WuTang, Xzibit, Methodman, Ect.) I haven't had any responce yet, but i'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm also pushing for some guest apperances. Left Brain, Winterlock, and When Darkness Falls tops my wishlist for layin down 8 bars or so. With a little magic on the 1's and 2's from Frank it should go smoothly.

Lance was tossing around a few titles, but they're just not screaming gangster, so it's still in the development stages. As for layout, Mike suggested a High School Basketball motif with cash and bling. Now we haven't found a photographer just yet, we've found it a little difficult to find a photographer with the proper combination of attitude and props. Also, we've put out a call for female models. Requirements and forms are posted upon the Simfonik Plague website.

I appreciate all of your interest and questions in this developing project. Hopefully we will be able to get this project out in time for Christmas '09. Thank you.

Yeah, the cover is a sore point. I just haven't been able to find the right shade of green for the Hummer. Right now, Courvoisier is making a strong pitch for some product placement, but I just don't know. And ain't this shit a bitch. The motherfuckers at Zales apparently thought that I was one of the "ignorant rock stars" and they went ahead and "corrected" the spelling of Simfonik to "Symphonic" on the diamond-on-platinum pendant we had made just for the photo shoot. Aaron's an optimist. Christmas '09? Yeah right. We'll be lucky to have rhythm tracks laid by then.
