I need a fucking vacation. |
Well the time has come to start on our mystical journey in recording. All in all when we are done we hope to have a 13 song album that sounds good enough for you to want to listen to it. Anyways today we start preliminary stuff like setting up equipment and microphones. Tomorrow we will do something else. That's all for now. I'll update as things happen.

I know you guys will do it, but take your time on getting drum sounds. Try different things. Change the type/angle/distance of the mic. Record some sounds and have Scotty listen to it. If you need some drum mics, let me know! We're all loking forward to your (fucking) record (already)!!!

Man, that sucks. Been there! The best part of home recording is finding out that NOT to do.
You know what's funny? I ran across some of my early stuff recorded and I don't know if I can touch that stuff anymore. Something about not having all the bells and whistles of fancy gear made me listen more then I guess. |
