On Sunday, April 22 at around 3 PM, the righteous dudes in Left Brain will be hosting a listening party to give folks a chance to get together, hang out, eat, drink, and party in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying the luxurious facilities at the Left Brain compound (these include a roof, at least one working bathroom, a powerful stereo system, an "indoors" and an "outdoors") and, of course, each other's company.

Music lovers, musicians, and their friends are all welcome. Partygoers will also have the opportunity to hear Devil Riding Shotgun's upcoming album in its entirety, a full two months before its release on June 22. See you there?

Those interested should PM me or post on this thread.

Details will follow as they develop, also on this thread.

Huge thanks to the members of Left Brain for hosting the party!

Get drive-bys much?

I don't blame you, considering folk like CamaroMatt and who knows maybe Wiccan Earth Goddess might show up. !!

Then again...I doubt they know how to read maps.

I read about this too late to come. It would have been rad to hear DRS's album, and then play my band's wimpy indie-pop stuff in front of the predominantly heavy-rock crowd. I love contrasts like that. Anyways, this was a cool thing for you guys to do...I'll have to have a similar party when we finish our ep.

You'd be surprised. The hard rocking/drinking crowd is pretty open minded. We listened to a good part of Unit 7 Drain's new album.

For me, that was the highlight of the party.

Oh, I know. I just like to hear the contrast between the two musical styles...I didn't mean that all you dudes listen to or appreciate is the harder stuff Smile
