You guys are nasty. It took me 3 years to get the bass parts down. I bet whenever you guys are feeling down, Sid cheers you up with a story about "Dr. Inchworm"

Believe me, we want to get this done as quickly as possible, too (just not at the expense of quality). Which provides me with the perfect segue into last night's session....

Last night I finished up the rest of the 2nd guitar parts, the solos, and a few overdubs here & there. We are now 18 hours in.

Even on the rough mix the guitars sound pretty massive, esp. sitting on top of Neb's thunderous, Rat-infused bass and John's rock-solid drum work. I used the Valve Jr. for some of the solos and overdubs - very dark-sounding through the Greenback 1x12.

Got a few rough mixes without vocals burned to CD to evaluate. Neb will probably not finish up the vocals until Monday night. That shouldn't take more than 2 hours or so, so although we will exceed the 20-hour total studio time estimate, we should only do so by a few hours.

After that, we'll be ready to mix this shiot down righteous.

hm.

Pre-mastering, a small gathering might be arranged, but I'll have to check with my two parners in Rock.

This shiznit's top secret for now, highly classified, etc., so high security clearance is a must. Any of you on the sex offender's list or anything like that?

Offensive, yes, but not necessarily an offense.

Borderline, but we'll give it to ya - you're in.

Wrong type of security clearance. The "high" part is easy - just alter yer conciousness.

Now to the details: Basically, if you're not as debased, perverted, & degenerate as we are, we feel really insecure. Therefore, we require some form of proof of perversity to clear you.

We're afraid our music might negatively affect the minds and psyches of the "normal."

Okay, not really. We just don't wanna get sued for it.

We do not discriminate. Whether it's a controlled substance or a legal one, it the intoxication level that counts.

Now about that "proof of perversion clause" - waddaya got?

Getting high on life does not count.

Thank you.
It's nice to know that someone(s) understand us a little.

Birds of a feather and all that.

A duck, alcohol, local music greats Black Maria, Left Brain and company, a few people holding and spilling drinks, and L.B. John with a digital camera...add Geoff to the mix and watch the madness ensue. Hangover and pics in the morning. Is this the way the party's going or was the duck sex a one time thing?
