Rock has always been bigger than just the music. Until the album is complete jocularity must be used to buy time toward the the end result, that being the actual musical endeavor. No worries...we'll bring the rock, god dammit!!! Hell yeah!!! By the way...thanks for keeping it real.

To be completely and totally serious here, Neb recorded the vocals last night, and I'll be goddamned if he didn't knock me right outta my seat. The vocals are epic, and his voice was in a perfect place while recording them. Polished, mutated, and in some cases totally new, his lyrics and melodies bring emotional focus and humanity to the songs.

Already, Sid's treatment on each vocal has added depth and melded the vocals to the music. A few finishing touches, and we'll be finished with the recording. Then it's mixdown time...

Actually, being that I am a second generation Mexican-American, I love the chorizo.

But, back to the subject at hand...When's the CD release party? And where are you gonna go for CD replication?

I have no answers to those questions right now, but watch the forum for an official announcement.

We have trouble planning more than one step at a time.

Whoops!
Sorry about that. Somehow I thought your name was something like Giovannamozzarella Linguini-Lugozi.
Not sure where I got that idea. (probably something to do with the afore mentioned debased, perverted behavior)

Again, I apologize and will bring some of your native fare if this listening fandango happens. You know, to show some fellowship and cultural sensitivity. It's booze and controled substances for the rest of y'all...

Okay, looks like tomorrow evening will be when we finish recording the overdubs. Neb's doing a new vocal on one tune, John's gotta do his cymbal build dub, and I have a few guitar dubs to do, and then it's time to mix!

Finished the overdubs tonight, the most important being the Cowbell. I've become somewhat immune to the cattle-prod, but Sid's keeping us on our toes. Tonight he introduced his new tazer. Ow!..son of a bitch!!

... and mixing begins!

Things are sounding pretty darn good. I especially like the drums (playability and tone). Should be a pretty tight ship! With any luck I'll have some tunes ready next week.
