When is the listening party?????

We've only briefly mentioned the listening party to one another. We need to think location location location...booze...snacks...booze...decor...booze and a loud stereo system. But, before that can happen we need to properly mix the shtuff first.

This is supposed to be about the music. What's all this fall-de-ral about partying? This Rock music is some serious stuff*. Let's try and stop tempting the Devil Riding Shotgun-ers with all this party talk and let them finish up this album!



*Although I would not hesitate to accept an invitation to such an event, I will be just as happy to Rock out to the finished product whilest enjoying volume and questionable life-style choices.

I joke quite a bit when I'm being serious but, we really want to make something worth the time taken to sit and listen. We do appreciate everyone wanting to hear the end result. It just makes us work harder. Mvto.

True, dat, but anyway, things are on hold right now until Sid recovers from a bout of the flu.

At any rate, believe me, we are just as eager to have this in our hands as y'all are - maybe even more so...

Just spoke with Sid - he's finished with all the pre-final mixes. Once we've listened to them fairly exhaustively, we'll give him a punchlist of changes if we feel any are necessary.

We can see the light at the end of the tunnel now, and it's a good feeling. More news as it develops.

Yeah, but now the fun starts.. now you have to get the CDs here before the CD Release show. Flyer, promote the fuck out of it. Send that shit to every fucking person you can think of. Magazines, interviews, hangovers, band press kits, ect... ahhhhhhhhh.. good times.

The members of DRS have taken steps toward financing the reproduction of our CD. We have formed a landscaping business aimed at the large segment of Albuquerque homeowners who are into Black Metal.

Here we are at our first job...
