Well, obviously the songwriting, vocals, and bass skills/tone are the things that matter to me most as a musician, but Neb's also a helluva nice, easygoing dood who's easy to work with, and that counts for a lot. Good drinking buddy, too.

But my favorite "Neb style" is his "attack mode" - you've all seen it: he starts charging about the stage like a mad bear, humping his bass rig with his bass sandwiched between as it emanates unearthly sounds. His gear has paid the price, esp. his bass, but if it feels good, do it, I say!

There aren't any words....but I'll give it a shot.

First of all, Neb and Alan are very laid back, intelligent, talented individuals. This band is the first "no pressure" band that I've been in. We've all been around the block and experienced negative musical situations. There is no leader in this band. That's a first for me. A guitar player in a former band was always telling me what to play on my drums. I usually responded "When you can actually come over here and show me on the drums then I'll do it you motherfucker!" That didn't last long.
We've all payed our dues, and I appreciate the fortunate situation I have found myself in.

They also both have sick tone.

you know, i hung out with Neb this past saturday at the supergiant show, along with Tristin of Left Brain. we had the greatest time at the show and afterward, with no small part of that coming from Neb's awesome sense of humor and go with the flow mentality.

Fuck Yeah!
That's what I'm saying. (and why I started this thread)
The vato is one of those rare individuals who makes you feel at ease. He knows his shit, yet is always mellow about it. And that sense of humor is worth the price of admission alone.

If it wasn't for Alan I wouldn't have seen this...hahaha. Thanks for the appreciation but, it is everyone I've met since coming here I've learned to appreciate. There are some really great personalities I've had the pleasure of meeting. Plus, some really great musicians. Mvto.
