It's going to be a "Rock Opera" about a hearing-impaired, speech-impaired, visually-impaired young boy whose parents try numerous "cures" without success. Even without his senses, the boy becomes a competetive computer gamer.
The boy (who we're thinking of naming Bobby) is then miraculously & suddenly cured of his conditions while playing Grand Theft Auto and becomes a messiah of sorts to the young.
The members of DRS will take turns playing the various characters in the story, so this will be the first time John & I lend our pipes to the act (unless you remember that shaky version of Neil Young's "Hurricane" that I used to shout before we had a full set).

Waddaya think? pretty original, eh?
Even if you abandon this "concept", I am looking forward to the results of y'all's sessions. That is because Devil Riding Shotgun always brings the Rock.

We're just keeping this first part, replacing "cures" with "exorcisms". The boy becomes a rock drummer, damned to the Eternal Lake of Fire..

I gotta feeling that this is gonna be one of those headphone albums!
"Headphone album" makes me think of studio trickery and fiddly bits. This will be more of an "earplug album" - one to be cranked through the loudest system possible.
