ahhh, i only wish a greater number of people were as impressed by knut hamsun. well, the shoulder voices are taking an extended break. we've found the one way to ensure a band's longevity is to not play for 6 or 8 months, then come back at it with the energy of a new band. little bobby is putting his energy into Unit 7 Drain, and taskmaster harry's songs require much foucs. i'm starting a new band and at this point it looks like there are about 7 members. i'm trying to do a zappa/stereolab/sonic youth/brianjonestownmassacre sort of thing. i might be looking for gigs for that band around the end of january. the name i have for that band now is Morn, but that may change should some band with that name be active (there are about 3 Morns on myspace, but they all have one friend and haven't logged on in months). you mentioned doing some recording, so let me know if you are interested in having me play some stuff with you, or recording some of my 'solo' stuff. i have two solo albums sitting on my bookshelf should you, or anyone else reading this post, be curious to hear them. i might also be at the open mic at blue dragon tonight.
