At a show about a month ago I was talking to a local musician, who shall now remain nameless, and we were talking about my solo work and The Grave of Nobody's Darling, and he asked me if I was in another band and I said "Yeah, I'm in the Shoulder Voices." He scrunched up his eyes and said, "Shoulder Voices?!?! They're the worst band in Albuquerque! Why are you wasting your time with that shit?" I laughed and said, "It's fun, and it's funny." It did not in any way hurt my feelings, and only made me wish more people were honest with how much they hate us.
