Went down south last weekend towards El Paso. Unfortunately we had a
"blow-out" in the truck on the way down just outside of Socorro.
Frans's right rear tire is no more. Took about an hour to unload the
equipment, put the spare on, rip the shredded tire off the rim, load up
the equipment, get to Socorro, buy a new tire, and put the spare back
underneath the truck. When we got to El Paso, it was on. Started
enjoying some "adult beverages", and got some food in us. Had a fun
set. Played on a stage (at Uncle Paulies) only big enough for me to sit
on with my drums, and the other boys had to stand on the ground in
front. The sound was good and there was a decent crowd. Wormhole (from
Las Cruces) played a good set, and SuperGiant closed out the show with
their usual face rockin set. Partied the rest of the night and headed
for Cruces the next morning. Got to Cruces a little after 1pm, and went
straight to the bar (Q-Time). This bar was awesome. Out front had a
digital Marquee that displayed all of the bands that were playing that
night. It had a hip-hop club on the far end, then a full bowling alley,
then a pool hall (where we played), and they are in the process of
building a giant outdoor amphitheater. After we proceeded to drink for
about 4 hours, we headed over the Wormhole's place and had a mini b-b-q.
Hung out with some good peeps, and then headed back to the bar. Played
our asses off after a band called Kessler (from Dallas). Wormhole after
us, and we shot out of town right before SuperGiant (sorry fellas). Got
on the road back to Burque around 1230am, and drove straight through,
arriving just before 4am. Can't wait to do it again.

And oh yeah....

Diamond was robbed by a mexican hooker on Friday night. Lost his ID and creditcard. He was innocent though...just a victim of circumstances. Right?

next time leave the ladies at home ... just kiddin'

we had a blast and it was cool to chill with you guys. those wormhole guys are legit as fuck as well

nice to actually come home with a little cash in the band fund. i think our new merch display is really helping!
