ATG, you're driving me crazy with references to the "new CD" which isn't out yet. Release it, already! Sheesh. Wink

As of tonight, I'm finally adding Collateral Hate and Tetelestai to my list of bands whose coolness I just can't deny, even if I can't figure out whatever genre they are. No melody or guitar solos; they're all about the rhythm. That ain't metal. The well-known band I would compare them to is Meshuggah, which I also don't consider to be metal. And Yet.. there I was, headbanging to both of these bands. "Car Bomb" by Collateral Hate really gets the blood pumping.

Tetelestai did something amazing near the end of their set. They changed into a completely different band, right before my eyes. Like some sort transformer, one minute they were a truck, and the next minute, they were a gigantic fighting robot. I looked around, and everybody had a smile plastered on their face when that happened. What a sight! If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you'll just have to come to their shows and hope they do it again. They'll be that Launchpad on the 23rd and I think they'll be at the Grants show on the 24th too.

The album is a press right now, I'm not kidding! You will love it! Charley's, Natural Sound and Merlins will be carrying it, but you will want to pick it up at one of the shows, at cost. They played the title track last night. I really like the song. The words are so true!

That was one good show last night, huh! There were about 150 people there. Tetelestai is one nice band! Maybe one of the reasons the music changed is Brandon from Minus 7 got up there and sang with Ray. That was pretty cool! He was there running the board. They were all having a good time with the PA, with all the different sounds it can do. I liked Crushing Rubble - they have a way to go but I liked their music. The singer has only been with them for 2 days. And that Solvolysis - wow! only 2 guys make all that sound! Blitzbreg (sp)? is coming along nicly, their sound is getting heavier. The singer has a good strong voice. Collateral Hate is always good! They need to get a good demo done soon! Huh, Seith. I'm sure you'll be down at the LaunchPad next Friday. ATG will be back at the Attic on the 23rd. But be sure and come down to the Harwood Art Center on Feb. 14th. ATG will have CD's there 4 sale. Good to see you. Big Grin

Aw, I've seen them do that many times, that wasn't the transformation I was talking about. You left too soon -- Tetelestai did something much more spectacular than just adding Brandon. I'm tempted to spill the beans, but it would take away from the shock effect when you eventually get to see it. Smile

Agreed, these guys were impressive. I'd love to see them again too.
