Hit By A Bus! THANK YOU!!! Thank you for inviting us to come play at Burts tonight with you and the Ground Beneath! We had never played Burts before and I'm pretty sure everyone in the band will agree that we had a freakin blast!!! The crowd was awesome! Steen the sound man extrodinaire(sp?) was awesome! and the venue was a blast!!!

Thanks again HBAB! You guys rock!!! ...only problem was I couldn't get over the urge to run my fingers through Johns sexy new hair...

It was an awesome night to say the least! HBAB were incredible. Chris will be sorely missed! Good luck to ya man! DBD and the Ground Beneath were great as well. I'm still trying to recover! Believe me, I'm not talkin' alcohol here.

Steen at Burt's is Tanuki's favorite sound guy. He is extremely talented and works really hard to make sure everything sounds good out in front of the stage.

1.] The lunchpale is my fav Venue - Staff is cool, stage is spacious, PA's n monitors are decent and the soundguys (for the most part) rock.

2.] I like Atomic becasue its just got a cool vibe. I really like the new stage setup too - the whole back area is quite intimate. The red lighting adds to the vibe and fascilitates much beer drinking and loud rock (at least it has that effect on myself). The sound has this raw quality to it that I really dig. I'd love to see MikeWatt play there sometime. the staff are cool too.

3rd.] The stage setup bugs at Burts. Playing to a wall is ok but the friggin fish bowl wall thang is really irritating. I like to move when I play and getting everbody on stage & rocking just doesnt happen because of the lack of space. I do like the beer specials, the Burts staff are chill and yeah the sound guys that helped us out at Burts were super nice & talented - especially getting good sound when the band is playing infront of a wall.

4.] Banditos was cool but weird. The vibe was funky there - probably because I couldn't hear myself for shite. Definitely has some weird acoustics/dynamics going on for sure. The Free taquitos were good with the green sauce though. They do have a rockin PA & good beer specials.

I agree. Burt's is a little awkward. Lunchbox is on!
