mmm....wednesday afternoon rum and cokes. what did i do last night? well, tuesday night at the launchpad was definitely fun. simfonik played balls out for twenty minutes. i was sincerely afraid that such a draft as was blowing last night would give them pneumonia. they claim they sucked, but as they are obscure and obtuse anyway, they should take comfort in the fact that to the layperson it was as kick ass as usual. checked out vertigo venus, who i'd been meaning to absorb. i love the double keyboard idea. ya ya rocked it as per usual, and holiday sail! wow! they got loud! it had been a long time since i'd seen them. perfect night for a few midweek beers and some fabulous local music. if you weren't there, well...one might reconsider expanding one's horizons. you'd be surprised. what's a little bit of snow, anyway? cheers guys, good job. check out the pics in the simfonik forum.
