Good stuff from all of the bands! There was alot of fire from Monotonix, very interesting. Never thought Shoulder Voices would fire three drummers in one gig, crazzzzy!
Hey, it's not my fault! |

For sure Monotonix is punk rock to the core. There are few shows I go to where an element of danger hangs thick in the air. Everyone in the room had their attention fixed on the band. The boomhead review should provide enough of the details. As for the Shoulder Voices, we can now contend with Brian Jonestown Massacre and Guided By Voices for the number of 'former' band members, and that counts last night. Our set was different than anything we've ever done, and perhaps Bobby and I were nervous enough to focus mainly on the music and spend much less time on our jack-assery. I was happy to have such fantastic personalities playing drums with us. Most likely we'll be back to a large band for the next show. I met some new people (fuzzy being one, and yes, he's fuzzy) and had a fabulous time. Thanks to everyone that made it out, and thanks to the Plague and Monotonix.
