The Filmore is one of the sickest venues I have ever been to! Oh ya, I really don't care if you think NOFX is punk or not, these guys are 100% pro-fucking-rockers. The majority of the crowd was old guys and gals like me and my wife. So, most of us were drunk and loving it. If you have the chance to check out a show at The Filmore, do it. By the way, NOFX and Bad Brains will be at Red Rocks in August (interesting choice of venue?).

We played the Filmore once and it was an awesome venue. Sound was incredible, facilities were rad, cool place. Used to be an ice skating rink, that's why it has the lowered floor. Glad you had fun.

are we talking about the Fillmore in San Francisco here??? I could look at that poster collection all day. (and it would take all day to look at them!)

yeah the fillmore in SF has thousands upon thousands of posters (and pictures of artists) all over all the walls in all the rooms of the theater. Some of them date back to the 60's originals. You could literately spend all day looking at those posters. I spotted a shins poster when I was there.

also, they're known for the psychedelic style poster which I fucking LOVE...

The Filmore in Denver has a TON of rad posters on the walls too. It's been around for a while. And let's not forget, there was the Filmore East as well in NYC.
