FRIDAY

Ouch.. What a great weekend full of live music. Friday we went out to the Lunchbox to support the Calendar Pinup Show. Fantastic! Everyone there was in a terrific mood. We got to see the bands that we have always wanted to see and also scored that sweet calendar with many kickass autographs. Charity Events Rule!

We then ventured off to see Five Minute Sin who was playing next door at the Golden West. There were still rocking out without Frans! So we decided to give them nastiest double shot imaginable. Which I hope doesn’t cause a war of crappy shot giving between them and us.

We then stumbled over to the Atomic Cantina to watch SimfonikMike battle it out with The CobraGroup. (Which He Didn’t!!!) Special Friend - “Which one do you like better; The MacGregor in your flask or The CobraGroup?” Me – “Both because I still don’t really understand them.” I was then educated about the The CobraGroup. Very Very Cool Stuff.

SATURDAY

Metal Night at Ralli’s with Simfonik Plague, When Darkness Falls, Left Brain and Devil Riding Shotgun. Holy crap.. Mandatory BlackTooth Shots, Kickass Friends all Around and a Giant Troll. Couldn’t have asked for a better night. We learned a lot about everyone that night.

SUNDAY

Zzzz..Z.z.z.z…ZZZzz.z.z.z…ZZ.z.z…

bro's- those double shots were nasty, but made my body feel warm and fuzzy. I think the Clan MacGregor in the parking lot tasted better.

Yes you have started a nasty shot war.

Sorry I did not make it out to metal night. I had planned on it but came down with fatal diareaha.(thinking it was the nasty shot or hooker spit from the night before).

The hooker spit came from Thunda's flask of MacGregor. You sick bastard.

Will be sure to put the nasty taint in your drinks from here on out. Instead of MacGregor I am going to substitute either:

a. Dark Eyes Vodka Product
b. Passport Scotch
3. Albertson's Tequilla

Most likely it will be a combination of the three.

Hopefully the next Left Brain show will be soon so's as I can exact my revenge and rock my face into utter oblivion.

Thanks for the shots fellas...

My ass is not thanking you.

Just flew back from three days at a Rock Fest. I have no biznezz being here at work or sharing my thoughts here. But that hasn't happened. Too bad.

Take your weekend, multiply by seven, subtract common sense, add serious contempt for decorm, drug laws and airplane behavior, factor in reuniting with old band pals times late check-out, and you have a slight idea of my/our weekend.

How do I survive?
Practice.
Lots and lots of practice.

(and this day job! it rules!)

Friday night - Intent: calendar show. Reality: Had waaaay too many beers & bongs to go out.

Saturday night: Ralli's was vibrating - Simfonic Plague, When Darkness Falls, Left Brain and DRS moved a lot of air that night, fo sho'!! By the time we took the stage, I was pretty well knackered, but managed not to make TOO many mistakes. Hope Bucky has regained consciousness by now - he had achieved "Launchpad status" by the end of the night...

Sunday night: ZzzzzZZZZZzzzzzZZZZZzzz...

Monday night: Played Burt's w/ Dead on Point 5. The touring band never showed, so it was just us. Mad props to Do.5 for the cool flyer (don't know if it was the teeth or the boobies that got me) and the SHIT-HOT and tighter than a XS girlie-T on the Hulk performance.

This morning: Unnnnnnnngh...

Simfonik Mike, what are you trying to do? Sabotage the other drummers?

Sorry I missed your MacGregor moment Bucky! I'll be there for the next one.

Had a great time at Launchpad on Fri. Somehow ended up dancing (a bit reluctantly) with some drunk dude during HBAB. The calendar is cool. GW- sorry they werent MacGregor shots. I should have tested out some of that Old Crowe myself. Atomic- Cobra is the shit.

I heard Gio asking for a beer when HBAB was playing. So I plow my way through the crowd. Purchase a beer... Spill most of it on me on the way back and hand it to HBAB's bassist. He drank it.. hehehe. Oh well!

RE:c//g....Thanks to those who came out.
In an attempt to conduct 13 stomp-runners, I forgot to cue our newest chromo-spitter Simfonik Mike. We are so very Psycked that he would want to play with us. Future//shows it will be him in the were-barbarian seat.
Damn, those calendars look tempting.

See Gio? All you gots to do is ask!!! I'll echo all sentiments expressed. I caught Panic's set on friday during which I met Gio for the first time and Ella for the second time. Thanks for signing, ladies!!! We (me and Aaron) booked it over to Atomic and caught the last couple tunes from Me Infecto. Good, different stuff. The bass player's rig was not to be beileved. The good Dr. Thunda formally inducted me into Clan MacGregor. I was going to play a bit with Cobra//group a bit, but Mr. }}}} forgot to cue me. It was funny because I needed a cue during an improv performance. Hehe. Although, I must say it was a truly off the hook performance. I remember thinking to myself, "How in the hell are all these folks going to fit on Atomic's stage?" Well, they didn't and that made it even cooler! Saturday night Mikey also achieved Launchpad Status. All the performances were excellent, and I spent about $100 at the bar. Yep...Last thing I recollect was Mr. darknesscrew buying me a shot of Jager...

Bucky + drink = dead weight. Next time I'm bringing a little red wagon...easier on the arms and a bit funnier.
