We had a freaking awesome time on Friday night at Uptown Bar. Primal Panic Music knows how to put on a hell of a show. The PA and sound they provided was totally killer. I usually hate micing my cab. Sound guys always promise they will give you your guitar through the monitors and it never happens or just doesn’t sound right. Friday was the first time I’ve ever had a good experience with stage volume and monitors. The sound guy REALLY knew what he was doing, it was really cool for a change! The place was packed. And we sold a plethora of merch.
As for our set it started off a little rocky but around the beginning of the 3rd song the kinks were worked out and running smooth… lol I was able to see the The Unemploid’s set in its entirety. They put some energy into the air with a killer punk-extravaganza! Unfortunately I missed the last two bands ColdSnap and Scarless because I’m a jackass and had to get home to the ‘ol wife and kid. I feel bad about it, I’ll have to make it up to you guys somehow…. but how did the night end?
Kinda weird... actually. The crowd was really hopping. But the colder it got outside the more people kept glancing at the ole door. I had to end up leaving after Scarless's first song because of some shit going on at home... but it was COLD out there.
