Hey ya'll i noticed no one has posted up a discussion about The Showcase yet. Might be that people are a lil slow today, cuz of rockin the fuck out, and a few hangovers along the way. But fuckin a I had a great time!

We started out of course playin our set @ Launchpad @ 6. I really thought over all our set came out great, we were rockin and we got our family out to see us for the first time in months. We chilled there and checked out The Ground Beneath, and Simfonik Plague. Both thos bands kicked some major ass! It was a really cool lineup right there, they complimented eachother great!

Well after that we started hoppin around, cuz hey There were some awesome shows goin on that we just had to see, and it just sucks you can't be at 2 places at once. But we headed over to Ned's to check out The Unemploid and Gracchi. They both fuckin rocked their asses off, and though from some other threads I've read about the drama happenin with the managment there at Ned's, I thought both bands looked like they were having a blast! Well after that went headed over to Atomic Cantina to check out Scenester and the Oktober People, and both of them were rockin with their cocks out and takin names!

As I said before I wish I could be at 2 places at once last night, cuz they were so many other bands I wanted to check out... But hey all I can say is that I had a blast, and it was great to have been apart of this thing. I gotta admit it was so much nicer to be able to enjoy the shows and have the focus more on the music, unlike the crawls. Hope to do it again soon!

Now its your turn ladies and gents... where did u go ? what shows did u see? who was rockin the fuck out? how was the night for you? Squawk away people, squawk away....

I started my evening off by working the door at the Launchpad, which actually turned out to be a good thing because I also got to listen to bands from two different venues almost simultaneously (End to End and Five Minute Sin were awesome, even through the Golden West's front window). Hung out and played at Ned's after that for a while. Wandered by Atomic and Burts, but I was too impatient to wait in line.(Albeit, a minimal one.) So then it was off to Knockouts, where I worked a double shift. No, just kidding ... it was just a bachelor party.

Squawk on.

We had a great time too, playing at Atomic. At first it was kind of dead, but by half-way thru the set all sorts of people showed up, which was awesome. overall, we didn't get to move around too much, but everyone seemed to have a good time.

Our first set I brought the wrong bass Red Face - I have like 4 of the same ritter gigbag and I was running late so I didn't check. That was kind of a bummer.

The second set at Burts was great (went home and snagged the right bass Cool . A few brewskis and lotsa loud rock ensued.

I had a great time Smile
