How was the weekend? Anyone go the Launchpad reopening on Saturday? Was the PA working ok? I was out of town again and didn't see a single show. I did make it down to the Pad for happy hour a few daze last week. I'm looking forward to the shows this Friday and Saturday nights!!

Left Brain kicked some ass in their instrumental set at Ralli's Saturday night. Thunda is probably the wickedest bassist I've seen in a long time. My skull is still pounding.

Hopefully the Left Brainers enjoyed the Early Times whiskey too.

We went out to Arizona and played The Gathering" in Window Rock. The show slayed and the crowd was all over it. The folks out on the Nation love live Rock and support it like mad!

The only cops that bothered us were two from the Nation Police Department. They showed up to the venue looking for Black Maria. The promoter came backstage (van w/tinted windows) to tell us the cops wanted to talk to us.

Uh-oh.

Turns out they had seen us play before, were fans and wanted to say hello.

Promoter--"These guys are fans of yours. They wanted to say hi."

Cops--"Hi"

G--"Uhh, hi. Are we doing alright?"

Cop--"Yeah....so far."

(*snickering and chortling in the background*)

G--"Well, um, thanks."

Best cop encounter in years...

That was Early Times? It was pretty nice.

Ralli's has changed a lot since we last played there- better sound system, completely new staff (aside from Aaron the sound guy), lower lights, house music low enough you can talk, and some cheap $2 pints.

It was good to catch a Sin show. I was surprised by the amount of "Zen chicks" (drunk dancing blondes) who showed up for their set.
